Gina couldn't concentrate because the sound of her brother's trumpet penetrated the whole house. She was so annoyed. She possessed the impressive capability of speaking six languages. Gina has many lofty ideas about what he wants to do when he finishes high school.
"Hi, Jack don't play trumpet so louder. It hurts yourself. Eating fruits and vegetables helps with the prevention of illness."
"I don't feel hungry. Hurry, Sarah! Use the mosquito racket to zap that bug on the wall before it flies away!" Jack keep playing.
"Where?" She don't like but. But she hates the lies of her brother more.
There's little privacy when you have to share a room with a family member. Specially, Gina lives in the small apartment.
Nicole is Gina's the best friend. She is known for her hospitality. Everyone loves to go to her house. When Gina felt bored, she called Nicole
Nicole: Looking at one's Facebook page will tell him a lot about the person's life and personality.
Gina: That's true. Most of my life is on Facebook. My profile could tell him about my hobbies, my interests and what my friends think of me. I find the idea of showing a new friend that much personal information disturbing.
Nicole: And this is just another way for him to see whether you're trustworthy. Besides, I've seen your Facebook page, and you don't have anything to hide.
Gina: Maybe not, but my friends might still post things on my Facebook page that make me look bad.
Nicole: I think the potential boyfriend will probably recognize the distinction between your posts and your friends' posts.
Gina: He might, but I'm also worried that something he sees on Facebook could be misleading. For example, I wore a really crazy costume to my friend's party last week. I wouldn't want him to think I always do strange things like that!
Nicole: Yeah, that's a good point, but I don't think he would assume that one picture shows how you always act. I'm sure he'll be pretty cautious about drawing conclusions too quickly based on Facebook.
Gina: Maybe, but he also might see my religion or my political views, and discriminate against me.
Nicole: He shouldn't do that - it's illegal here in the U.S.
Gina: I also worry about my friends' privacy. If I log in to my account for he, he can browse all of their profiles, too. They didn't agree to that.
Nicole: I guess so, but some people's Facebook walls are always visible to the public. You and your friends should be really careful about posting anything embarrassing online. But if you're really worried, check your Facebook page before the dating. You can delete anything that you feel doesn't represent you correctly.
Gina: I think so. Although you can't judge a book by its cover, but it's real. Before the dating, I need to set my Facebook profile to private; only my friends can view it.
Nicole: But I don't think Terry is very trustworthy; he keeps telling everyone my secrets!
Gina: So you suggest that I should delete him from my facebook?
Their topics of chatting are more and includes "Can anyone explain the distinction between a vegetarian diet and a vegan diet?", "For my friend's birthday party, I baked cookies using my mother's recipe.", "Lily's diet is simple - she just needs to consume less food.", "Linda enjoys rock climbing, but I'm afraid to attempt it."

Gina: Beauty is only skin. I hope you know my deep soul.
Jason: I just know you are the gold digger in your deep mind. Cut back on how much my money you spend on clothes and you will have a lot of extra money! Along with the freedom to make your own decisions comes responsibility for your actions.
Gina: I am not a gold digger. You had remarked about my excellent cooking. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
In Jason's mind, he recall Gina ruined the cake mix when she accidentally added bad eggs, so she had to start from scratch.
Gina told her best friend, Nicole, about her news, "I will marry!"
Nicole: So what. What happened?
Gina: "I was completely on edge when I met my boyfriend's parents for the first time. But we like each other soon."
Wedding and Honeymoon

Jason said: I have told you must lose weight. Now is late. Losing weight is easy. You just have to keep your eating in check and not overdo it.
There was tension at the party when Susan and Joanne showed up in the same dress in the wedding ceremony. Josh said he was going to attend the party, but he flaked and didn't go.
Gina and her rich husband decide to travel global for honeymoon. Gina's mom told to her, "Remember to pack a lot of snacks for our journey."
This historical house has long bee a favorite place for people to stay at no their honeymoons. But Paris isn't just the Eiffel Tower and cute coffee shops. It's fine place for the newlyweds. New York is not a small city, so it may be hard to explore it in only a few days. Northern Minnesota is known for its many lakes, good fishing and camping, to name only a few activities done there. 2. The friends
How should you treat an unpopular students?
Mary and Jane are eating lunch in their school cafeteria.
Mary: It looks like Sally is sitting by herself again today. Let's invite her to eat with us.
Jane: I think our table is full.
Mary: We could pull up a chair and make some room.
Jane: Yeah, but people might notice and think we're friends with her.
Mary: What's wrong with that?
Jane: She's so weird. If we sit with her, people will think we're weird, too, and won't want to be friends with us.
Mary: I don't think everybody will quit being our friends because we're nice to her.
Jane: But if we invite her to join us, we may never get rid of her! She'll tag along with us all the time.
Mary: What do you have against her?
Jane: Well, she's unpopular. She's not very pretty; she's painfully shy; she doesn't excel in any subjects, and she doesn't belong to any clubs.
Mary: Maybe she just feels nervous around people she doesn't know. She might be less shy and more willing to participate if someone reached out to her a little bit.
Jane: Maybe. But why does that someone have to be us?
Mary: Why not us? If I were Sally, I'd want someone to befriend me. Wouldn't you?
Jane: I guess so, but I don't think we're doing anything wrong by not befriending her. We're not mean to her, and not going out of our way to talk to her is understandable. We can't be best friends with everyone.
Mary: Maybe not, but we can show compassion to one person. It's not that hard to have one more friend.
Jane: We're already pretty busy. Where will we find time?
Mary: We can invite her to join us when we're with our other friends - like to a party or something. And we have lots of time to chat between classes. Besides, if we get to know Sally, we'll probably discover things about her. She might be really interesting and fun to be around.
(The bell rings.)
Jane: Well, lunch is over anyway.
Mary: I guess it's too late for her to sit with us today. But maybe I'll invite her to hang out with us at the mall on Saturday.
Jane: Ah...I don't think I'll join you, but have fun.
Joe isn't very approachable and doesn't seem to enjoy other people.
With his bright red hair, Dustin will stand out wherever he goes.
What do you have against Anne? You never say anything nice about her.

Governments, businesses and journalists often look to polls to gain insight into public opinion.
Last June, major polling groups Gallup, Pew/Washington Post and CBS News asked the American public their opinion regarding the NSA's collection of phone calls and email messages. The results seemed to contradict each other a great deal. The Pew/Washington Post poll showed 56 percent approving of the NSA's action, while the Gallup poll showed 53 percent disapproving of that action. As journalist David Moore pointed out , one poll mentioned terrorism terrorism while another mentioned privacy concerns. Such variation in poll questions can affect respondents's thinking and lead to wildly different results. So remember, the public opinion revealed in polls may not always represent the masses!
There basic requirements of a good poll.
1.Questions must be worded in a way that avoids pointing subjects toward a particular point of view.
2.The subjects in the sample must be randomly selected. If subjects are chosen properly, then theoretically every subject in a targeted population has the same chance of being sampled.
3. The poll must survey opinions from a large enough group of people to reduce the possibility of sampling error. The more people who participate, the greater the chance that the general public is represented.

A couple of them were giving him strange glances, but mist were just completely ignoring him. Leo nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt Erica tap him on the shoulder.
Erica: You're funny. I was just coming over to tell you that you did a good job.
Leo: Well, thanks. I'm utterly confused.
Neal: Your driving skills really made an impression on me. We need another stunt driver. Would you be interested in working for our company?
Leo: You're offering me a job as a driver? Really? Uh... I would love to. I need to talk to my wife first, though.
He could take all the skills he had and use them in a fresh way. Leo grinned. He couldn't think of anything that could possibly be better.
dog
Do you want a dog? Owning a dog can be fun, but it's also a lot of work.
Carrie: I just love dogs. I think I want to get one.
Hannan: That's a pretty big decision. Why do you want a dog?
Carrie: I've always loved dogs. When I was a child, our dog Scooby went every where with me.
Hannah: Dogs make great pets because they're so loyal to their owners.
Carrie: Exactly. You know I live by myself, and sometimes I feel lonely. A dog would be good company.
Hannah: Some dogs are good at defending their owners, too. Since you live alone, it might be helpful to have a dog that will bark and scare away burglars.
Carrie: Plus, I could take the dog on walks. It would get me out of the house.
Hannah: That's good exercise for both of you!
Carrie: I definitely need motivation for more exercise. Caring for a dog would help me with that.
Hannah: I love seeing people walk their dogs in the park. Some of the owners let me pet their dogs, but, of course, I always ask first!
Carrie: Many dogs are friendly and social. That's another reason I want a dog - I'd like a cute, cuddly companion that makes people smile!
Hannah: But dogs are a lot of work, too.
Carrie: Yes. Owning a dog isn't all fun and games. Cleaning up after them - and keeping them clean - can be a chore.
Hannah: I've heard that some dogs shed a lot. And some bark a lot and chew on your things.
Carrie: True. They can really get into trouble. I'll need to train my dog well! I know it will take time and commitment.
Hannah: And you need to take the dog's happiness into account. You're not planning to get a big dog, are you? Your apartment isn't that large. And a friend told me that her dog was unhappy because it was confined all day.
Carrie: A small dog would be happy in my apartment. Definitely not a big one! I do work, but I plan to go home to walk it at lunch.
Hannah: That's good. Also, don;t forget how much it costs!
Carrie: I'm thinking about adopting from the animal shelter.
Hannah: Adopting a dog is fantastic, but you still have to pay an adoption fee. Then there's food, toys and trips to the vet.
Carrie: I haven't thought much about the cost. I guess I still have a lot to consider.
The Art of Mime. In this art form, actions speak louder than words.
What do you think of when you think of a face painted white? A shirt with stripes? White golves and a black hat? In the West this figure might come to mind when we think of mime. Mime is the art of acting without using speech. The word can also refer to a person who performs this art. This type of art has grown and changed over the centuries. What began as a simple form of communication is now a form of theater.
Mime is one of the earliest forms of self-expression. As languages were developing, humans still used their bodies to speak. Mime first became an art form in ancient Greece. Silent actors performed everyday scenes using gestures. These plays often taught a lesson about values.
Pierrot is a romantic, emotional character - someone the audience can understand. He often wears a clown costume with a white face.
Mimes wore masks and acted out comedies. Because masks hid their faces, they could make fun of any aspect of society. Everyone enjoyed these performances - young and old, rich and poor.
Mimes also traveled around Europe. Because their art had no words, there was no language barrier. Mime became especially popular in France
Bip was created by Marcel Marceau. He's a funny, innocent fellow with soft shoes, a sailor suit, a white face and a flower in his hat.
Mime like a pro
Want to try mime? Try communicating only through body language; no talking allowed. Watch people's facial expressions and gestures closely and practice copying them. Create a story to act out - this will be more interesting to your audience. No props? No worries! You can create anything you need out of thin air. The most important thing is to believe your illusion. If you believe it's real, your audience will, too!
"I don't feel hungry. Hurry, Sarah! Use the mosquito racket to zap that bug on the wall before it flies away!" Jack keep playing.
"Where?" She don't like but. But she hates the lies of her brother more.
